Ramires wants Hulk at Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Ramires believes the club should go all out to sign Hulk from FC Porto. The Blues have already signed Marko Marin from Wolfsburg and Eden Hazard from Lille, but have strongly been linked with a move for Brazilian striker Hulk. Ramires told Lancenet:

I’m following here from Brazil the news about Chelsea’s likely signing of Hulk. I hope he does come, I have played with him for the Brazilian national team, and I also played against him when I was at Benfica and he would surely add a lot to Chelsea’s squad. If it was up to me, everything would be done already.
The 25-year-old former Benfica midfielder will be following the much anticipated Euro 2012 and hopes all his Chelsea teammates perform well. He added:

I’m supporting England and Spain as those are the teams that have more Chelsea players, and I will also support Portugal due to the huge affection I have for the Portuguese people, besides my friendship with Raul Meireles.

Some other team-mates are also playing the tournament, such as Malouda for France. I hope some of them shine in the competition as that will be good for Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Hulk, who scored 21 and assisted 15 in the 38 games he played last season for Porto, has hinted that his future lies away from the Portuguese club. Asked what the future held for him, Hulk told Lancenet:
I will always continue to work hard and keep my feet on the ground, regardless of whether I stay at Porto. If the time has come to move on, I’ll do so with a good feeling. I have enjoyed a great time here. I’m sure that they will understand the motives behind my decision if I leave.
