No surprises here. Although it feels like he’s been around forever, he’s only 24-years-old and has his peak years still in front of him. A lifelong Aston Villa fan, Grealish joined the club as a six-year-old and was named as an unused substitute in the Premier League at the age of 16. Grealish made his Premier League debut at the tender age of 18 and has never looked back since. He has often, single-handedly carried Aston Villa away from the brink of Premier League obscurity.

Villa have been extremely dependent on him to provide an offensive outlet, so much so that he tops their goal scoring and assists’ charts. Only Gerard Deulofeu and Raúl Jiménez, in the PL, can boast of scoring the most goals and providing the most assists for their respective teams. But unlike these two, Grealish is his team’s most important player during build-up play, which speaks volumes of his contribution in helping Aston Villa stay afloat in the toughest football league in the world.
