Real Madrid FC’s talisman Cristiano Ronaldo was given the captain’s armband for their game against Ludogorets at Santiago Bernabeu. This was the first time Ronaldo has ever worn the armband in his 109 Champion League appearances.Real Madrid were given a penalty for a Marcelino handball on the goal-line, which earned the Brazilian midfielder a straight red.
