Claudio Ranieri interested in managing Italy

The Premier League winning manager former manager of Leicester City who is currently with Nantes, Claudio Ranieri, has fuelled speculation that he wants to manage Italy one day. After the sacking of Giampiero Ventura, a lot of Italian managers are being looked at such as Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte with Ranieri now also being in the mix.

When asked about taking over the reigns with the Italian national team, Ranieri was quoted by L'equipe as saying, "It's a source of pride for me, but you'd have to ask the president of Nantes, not me."

Javier Pastore's agent confirms Inter Milan interest

The Nerazzurri are on the lookout for a midfielder in January with Luciano Spalletti identifying Paris Saint-Germain's Javier Pastore as a potential target. Marcelo Simonian, his agent has today admitted that Pastore is interested in joining the Serie A side to Calciomercato.

But the Argentine's representative has also revealed that a big money offer from a Chinese club may change Pastore's decision.
