What's the story?
In what can prove to be a huge blow for Real Madrid's present and future, Marco Asensio has reportedly told club supremo Florentino Perez that he has offers on the table from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol has reported that the youngster is frustrated with the lack of starts given to him by Zinedine Zidane and is hence plotting a move away from the Bernabeu.
In case you didn't know...
Despite a stellar last campaign, Asensio has started just 11 league matches this season, scoring six and chipping in with four assists. Zidane has preferred the trio of BBC when fit which has irked the winger about only being able to deliver from the bench.
But after a slow start to the season, Asensio is back among the thick of things and has been Real Madrid's most influential player in their last two games against PSG and Real Betis.
The heart of the matter
Asensio has reportedly conveyed to Florentino Perez that he has received interest from three Premier League giants who are ready to make a move for him in the summer. The winger has also made it clear that if Zinedine Zidane continues as the manager of Los Meringues then he will start to look for a new club.
The tabloid has tipped Chelsea to be the favourites to land Asensio because of the good relations between the two sides as a result of the recent transfer of Alvaro Morata. But Perez is keen on holding on to the 22-year-old and has called for patience from the player until the end of the season.
Rumour probability: 7/10
It is believed that Real Madrid are ready to spend big in the summer which involves Chelsea's Eden Hazard as one of the prime targets. Even if Asensio decides to stay put at the Bernabeu, his chances of starting games will be affected by the new arrivals. This is why the Spaniard is expected to push for a move to the Premier League in the summer.

Marco Asensio can safely be said as one of the future trendsetters in European football. Real Madrid need a player of this sort with one eye on the future. But his frustrations over playing time may now prove to be a blessing for the Premier League sides who must do everything in their capacity to take the talented winger on board.
