The Mexican goalkeeper has been crowned as the best goalkeeper of the season, shutting the mouth of all people who think that Navas is no longer important since Courtois arrived from Chelsea. In the draw, he got better of Allison Becker and Gianluigi Buffon (last year's title holder).

Navas made his 100th appearance for Madrid during the season. He appeared in eleven matches during 2017-18 UEFA Champions league. The win against Liverpool in the finals saw Navas claim his 100th victory for Madrid in only 141 appearances.
