Carlo Ancelotti admits Thomas Muller is unhappy at Bayern Munich

After heated speculation over Thomas Muller's discontentment at Bayern Munich throughout the summer, the Bundesliga side's manager Carlo Ancelotti decided to finally address the issue.

Ancelotti reportedly admitted that the German is not happy on the bench, and that it is natural for a player to feel so. Concern seems to be growing among the fans, with English Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea lurking right around the corner, hoping to snap up Muller, should he choose to leave Bavaria in January's winter transfer window.

Bayer Leverkusen close in on signing Lucas Alario

The Bundesliga side are adamant in their pursuit of River Plate's striker Lucas Alario. Bayer had allegedly triggered the Argentian's release clause of €23.8 million on deadline day. However, the Argentian season had begun by then, forcing Argentine soccer association (AFA) to refuse clearance for the player.

Bayer Leverkusen have now asked FIFA to intervene and approve what they believe is a done deal. According to reports emerging from Germany, the club is reportedly optimistic that 24-year old Alario will be allowed to play soon.
