Eden Hazard makes two huge demands to join Real Madrid, Galacticos eye €120 million move for superstar forward and more Real Madrid transfer news February 13, 2019
Hello and welcome to the Real Madrid transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories of the day surrounding the Galacticos!
Mauro Icardi struggles
Mauro Icardi has been linked with Real Madrid for almost a year now but it seems like the player is going through a downward spiral. According to his wife and agent Wanda Nara, Inter should protect the Argentine more.
She further added that they are not currently in a hurry to sign a new deal with Inter as the player has two years left in his contract. She, however, maintained that Inter are the first priority for Icardi.
“I’d like to see Mauro more protected by the club because sometimes nasty things have come out from inside.
“I didn’t mention the renewal. When the club called me, it was to get to know each other better and talk about other things,” she said.
“The priority is Inter: I’ve never demanded a renewal. We’re in no hurry, he still has two years left on his contract.”
And now, Inter have stripped Mauro Icardi off the captaincy of the team and gave the honour to Samir Handanovic, further fueling exit rumours surrounding the player.
Eden Hazard’s demands to join Madrid
Whenever a player changes team, she/he always puts forth a set of demands. It is no different with Eden Hazard and Real Madrid. Even though joining Madrid is a dream for the player, he has made two huge demands to the club.
The first one is that he wants around €15 million as signing-on fee and the second one is that he wants to be paid €17 million net in wages annually, a figure that would make him the highest-paid player at Real Madrid, which might not be taken kindly by the likes of Ramos, Modric and Benzema.
Dybala targeted by Madrid
According to this report from AS, Florentino Perez is a huge fan of Paulo Dybala and is closely following his situation at Juventus. He is also considering a summer switch for the Argentine and is willing to offer a whopping €120 million.
