#3 Courtois picks Hazard over Neymar for Madrid

Thibaut Courtois has urged Real Madrid to sign Eden Hazard over Neymar in the summer. The World Cup Golden Glove winner joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 and it is expected that his compatriot will join him this summer.

And Courtois wants just that but also added that the final decision lies in the hands of the club’s management.

"I [would] choose Eden, of course. I really like him, but the choice is up to the board. I do not know what will happen. That is not a question for me, but for the chairman and the management," he said.

Of late, Barcelona have outspent their Galactico rivals. When asked about Barcelona’s strategy, Courtois was of the opinion that there is no point in looking at another club’s transfer policy.

For him, Real Madrid will have to think about themselves and also keep the Financial Fair Play in mind. He also added that since Barcelona have already spent more money than they made from the sale of Neymar, there is a good chance that the Catalans will have to sell some of their players.

"We do not have to look at other teams, we have to look at ourselves," he said. "We have to build a new team.

"Who knows [whether] other teams will get into trouble with the rules of Financial Fair Play?

"If you see that Barcelona have already spent twice the amount they have received for Neymar, they may have to sell again soon."

Only the summer will tell whether the assumption of the Belgian is correct or not.

#2 Militao

Militao to Madrid could happen soon

Eder Militao was supposed to be at Real Madrid by now. However, he is still at FC Porto and it may take a while before he moves to the Bernabeu. According to reports from Spain, there is a bit of a dispute regarding a training fee between Porto and Madrid.

According to the rules of FIFA, a club that groomed a player from the age of 12 until the age of 21 are subject to receiving a compensation fee for training the player. In Militao’s case, Sao Paolo are to get €6 million in compensation fees.

And this is where the conflict is. Apparently, Porto want Madrid to pay this fee on top of the €50 million that they would be paying in order to activate the release clause of the player.

The Galacticos, however, don’t want anything to do with that since they think it is not their concern. However, the signing is still most likely to happen.

Real Madrid have eyed Harry Kane as a Galactico signing for the summer. According to reports from Spain, the Galacticos will have to cough up €230 million to sign the player. As a result, they wish to cut down the price by €100 million by including Gareth Bale in the deal.

Meanwhile, another report suggests that Real Madrid are no longer eying a move for Neymar and are, instead, they are looking at Kylian Mbappe. As a result, the Merengues are ready to go gung-ho and make a €300 million bid for the French youngster.

Finally, Marca reveal that Karim Benzema owes a bit of his good fortune to Florentino Perez. The Real Madrid president kept faith in him, which is why he is still at the club and is now reaping the rewards of the faith shown in the Frenchman.
