Arsenal are reportedly closing in on signing Marcelo Brozovic after the end of the ongoing season to strengthen their midfield.
The 23-year-old moved to Inter Milan from Dinamo Zagreb and signed a one-and-a-half deal in January 2015. His loan move with the Serie A club will expire in the summer and an obligation clause will be activated, which will force Roberto Mancini's side to sign him on a permanent deal.

Inter are fourth in the league table with 58 points after 32 matches, six points behind third place AS Roma. Top two clubs in Italy will be assured a berth in the next season's Champions League, with the third placed team to feature in the qualifiers.
The Express reports Brozovic is on Arsene Wenger's radar and the Gunners are closing in on a move in securing his services. The Emirates club have Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky, whose contract will run down in the summer and no new deals have been handed to them to extend their stay at the club.
Wenger is looking to bring the Croatian international to Arsenal as the Frenchman looks to reshuffle his midfield.
According to the Italian publication Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri chief executive officer Michael Bolingbroke are looking to cut down on their finances if they fail to qualify for the Europe's elite club competition.
Should Inter are set to miss out on the Champions League, they have decided to offload Brozovic in the summer. They are looking at a fee of €20m-€25m (£15.8m-£19.8m) from potential buyers and will sanction the sale of the midfielder if the interested club can match their asking price.
Brozovic's agent earlier hinted there is an interest from England and Spain and suggested his client will only get better.
“He was looking for a bigger club than Dinamo Zagreb to prove his potential, and Inter wanted substance and freshness in midfield," Brozovic agent told Calciomercato, as quoted by The Sun in January.
“After a year, we can say it was the right decision for both parties. Now he’s a top player. He’s improved to a European level, and has confidence in his ability to further improve.”
“Other clubs will see that too, Spanish and English. Premier League clubs know him very well - they believe he can improve a lot in the next few years. They also know he’s not cheap, though,” added his agent.
Brozoviic has also admitted that he will take a decision on his future after the end of the 2015/16 season.
"I have heard about these rumours. For now, I am an Inter player and I will behave as such. Everything is possible, we'll see. We'll know more after the Euros. There's nothing more to say at this time, it's too soon," Brozovic told Jutarnji.
