What's the story?

According to reports, Arsenal are in talks to sign the former Athletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco from Dalian Yifang.

In case you didn't know...

After starting the season impressively under Unai Emery, Arsenal's form suffered in the last few weeks and they won just three of their last six Premier League games. The London-based club is currently fifth on the league table and will be aiming for finishing in the Champions League qualification places.

However, there are a number of problematic positions in the team and the Gunners are currently trying to take full advantage of the ongoing transfer window to enhance their team.

They reportedly completed the loan deal for Barcelona's Denis Suarez and are looking to sign more players before the deadline day.

The heart of the matter

According to the reports by Sky Sports, Arsenal are in talks to sign the Belgian winger, Yannick Carrasco from the Chinese side, Dalian Yifang.

The London-based club made an offer to sign Ivan Perisic on loan from Inter Milan with a view to making the deal permanent in the summer but the Serie A side reportedly turned down the offer.

They now turned their attention towards his alternatives and wants to sign Yannick Carrasco on loan from the Chinese side, Dalian Yifang with a view to a permanent move.

Rumor Ratings- 5/10

Arsenal's boss Unai Emery is in the market for reinforcements in wide areas and could make a move for Carrasco after failing to reach an agreement with Inter Milan for Ivan Perisic.

Moreover, Carrasco's agent recently revealed that the Belgium international wants to leave the Chinese Super League club, Dalian Yifang because his family is struggling to adapt.

What's next?

Arsenal are aiming to finish in the Champions League qualification places this season and will play Manchester City next in the league.
