What's the story?

According to Rai Sport via AS, Chelsea will battle with Premier League rivals Manchester City and Serie A giants Juventus to secure the services of Spanish playmaker, Isco.

In case you didn't know...

Despite being the center of attraction in Spain, things are not going according to the plan for Isco at Real Madrid under new boss Santiago Solari.

The 26-year-old has rarely started since Solari took over at Santiago Bernabeu. He has only featured eleven times in all competitions this season and is mostly seen being used as a substitute.

Despite their recent good run of form, Real Madrid are enduring an average season, considering their high standards. They are currently placed third in the La Liga table, eight points behind league leaders FC Barcelona.

The heart of the matter

Los Blancos are in the hunt for new faces and want to offload few players. Florentino Perez is desperate to build a squad with new faces and revamp the frontline, especially due to the club's poor performances in the league this season. According to the report, Solari's falling out with Isco will definitely play a key role in the playmaker's move away from the club.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Juventus are the three clubs interested in the Spaniard's signature. All the three teams are pursuing better success in Champions League currently, and a new superstar like Isco in their line up will only go on to be a major boost.

Rumour rating: 6/10

It is likely that Isco will want more minutes on the pitch which teams like Chelsea, Manchester City and Juventus will be more than happy to offer.
