Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Alexander Isak, who is also on the list of Arsenal and Chelsea, this summer.

Isak has been excellent for Newcastle United since arriving from Real Sociedad for a reported fee of €70 million in 2022. He has scored 31 goals and provided four assists in 61 games his across competitions. Along with his scoring ability, Isak's link-up play and dribbling abilities have also garnered plenty of praise.

As per The Sun, Barcelona have also been impressed with the Swedish striker and look at him as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski. While the latter's contract with Barca expires in 2026, he will turn 36 in August. Hence, the Blaugrana are looking for young replacements.

Isak fulfills that criteria being 24 years old. Moreover, Newcastle could have to sell their prized asset to comply with Premier League's financial regulations. The Swede's contract with the Magpies expires in 2028 and as per Transfermarkt, his market value is €70 million.

It is perhaps a steep price for Barcelona, who are dealing with financial difficulties themselves. Moreover, they will have to compete with Arsenal and Chelsea for Isak's signature with the London rivals also in the hunt for a striker.

Isak has scored 21 goals and provided one assist in 34 games across competitions for Newcastle this season.

Barcelona interested in Chelsea midfielder they've been scouting for a while: Reports

As per TalkSport, Barcelona are interested in signing Carney Chukwuemeka in the summer.

Chukwuemeka came through Aston Villa's academy and made 16 senior appearances for them. He then joined Chelsea for an initial fee of €18 million in the summer of 2022. However, he has made just 27 appearances for the Blues, contributing two goals and one assist.

Chukwuemeka has made just 12 appearances across competitions this season, starting just two of them. Hence, the Englishman could look to leave in the summer in search of more playing time.

The 20-year-old has a contract until 2028 with the west London side. While as per Transfermarkt, his market value is €15 million, Chelsea are likely to demand a much higher fee if they are to sell Chukwuemeka.
