Meanwhile, the Catalans have reached an agreement to take Joan Garcia to Camp Nou. Elsewhere, the LaLiga champions have received a boost in their pursuit of Luis Diaz.

On that note, let's look at the major Barcelona transfer stories from June 11, 2025.

The LaLiga champions are laying down succession plans for Marc-Andre ter Stegen, whose future remains up in the air after an injury-ravaged season. Meanwhile, Garcia is one of the brightest young goalkeepers in Europe and already has admirers across the continent.

The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2024-25 campaign with Espanyol, registering eight clean sheets from 38 games across competitions. The player has now agreed to a five-year deal with Barcelona and will ply his trade at Camp Nou from the next season onwards.

The Catalans will trigger the Spaniard's €25m release clause in the coming days. However, they will also have to address Ter Stegen's future soon.

Barcelona could sign Luis Diaz for less than his €80m asking price, according to SPORT (via Barca Universal). Hansi Flick wants a new left-forward this summer, and multiple candidates have been mentioned as possible targets.

While the list includes Marcus Rashford and Rafael Leao, the Camp Nou hierarchy apparently consider Diaz the perfect fit for the job. The Colombian enjoyed an impressive 2024-25 campaign with Liverpool, scoring 17 goals and setting up eight more from 50 games.

His efforts helped the Reds win the Premier League. Recent reports have suggested that the Catalans reached out to their Premier League counterparts to discuss the possibilities of a deal.

However, Liverpool apparently rebuffed their approach, saying that the 28-year-old is not for sale. Interestingly, it now appears that the Reds have promised Diaz that he will be allowed to leave for less than his €80m valuation. The news could be a huge boost to the LaLiga champions' plans.

While he prefers to operate on the left wing, Nusa is equally adept at playing on the right, as well as through the middle. His versatility has already turned heads at multiple clubs across the continent, and he was also linked with the Catalans last summer.

Speaking recently to TV2 Sport (via Barca Universal), the 20-year-old said he would like to share the pitch with Lamine Yamal.

“When I was younger, my team was FC Barcelona, but now I am neutral. That’s the best I can say. I would like to play with Lamine. I’d like to know what it’s like, it would be fun,” said Nusa.

Nusa is under contract with RB Leipzig until 2029.
