According to a report by Tutto Juve (via TheHardTackle), Manchester City are interested in signing Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus. Pep Guardiola is believed to be looking for a versatile full-back, and Cambiaso is one of the options that City are considering.
Cambiaso is primarily a left-back but he has proven to be versatile due to his proficiency to feature at right-back and the right-midfield position. In the 2024-25 season, Cambiaso registered four goal contributions in 20 appearances for Juventus.
An overview of Manchester City's left-back position indicates that Josh Wilson-Esbrand is the only natural left-back option in the squad. As a left-back option, Wilson-Esbrand is yet to feature for City this season.
The Cityzens hierarchy might be looking to sign Cambiaso to bolster the left-back position, which is in dire need of reform. Cambiaso's versatility and defensive intuition could enhance City's defense if signed. However, the Italian is contracted at Juventus till June 2029 having signed a contract extension in July 2024.
This implies that City's offer would have to be convincing if Juventus were to part ways with Cambiaso. Manchester City would also have to defeat Real Madrid in the race to sign the 24-year-old in the forthcoming January transfer window.
Manchester City willing to offer Oscar Bobb or James McAtee as part of the deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen - Reports

The Cityzens are looking to offer either Oscar Bobb or James McAtee in the potential deal which could see Florian Writz joining them. This is according to TBRFootball (via Transfer News Live on X).
In recent months, the German international has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad. Wirtz is believed to be Kevin De Bruyne's long-term replacement and City are reportedly willing to offer Bobb or McAtee to secure his signing.
Wirtz has proven to be decent in attack since joining Leverkusen from FC Koln in January 2020. In 22 appearances this season, he has scored 10 goals and registered five assists.
If signed, his attacking prowess could strengthen Manchester City's forward line. However, Wirtz’s signing might not come cheap despite City's willingness to offer a player plus cash. The 21-year-old is valued at €130 million by Transfermarkt and he's contracted at Leverkusen till June 2027.
