Manchester United are looking for a double swoop for Center Backs Mats Hummels and Martins Indi, in order to replace departing captain Nemanja Vidic and English veteran Rio Ferdinand.

With Nemanja Vidic already confirming that he’ll leave the club and join Italian side Inter Milan, and Rio Ferdinand confirming on Monday evening that it’s time for him to move on, and start new for a fresh challenge. Manchester United are making swift movements in order to replace the old guns.

German international Mats Hummels would be the ideal replacement for Nemanja Vidc and Dutch international Martins Indi with his physical strength would strengthen Manchester United’s defence, along with existing defenders Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Jonny Evans.

Adding more on Martins Indi he has been a prominent figure for Feyenoord this season and his efforts have been rewarded as Holland manager Louis Van Gaal has named him the World Cup squad. At the age of 22 Indi has 13 Caps to his name and more than 100 career appearances to add to his tally.
