West Ham United are looking to sign Chelsea centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo on a loan deal in the upcoming winter transfer window, as per Foot Mercato. The Hammers are keen to add defensive reinforcements for the second half of the 2024/25 Premier League season.
West Ham are currently 14th in the league table and have conceded 27 goals in 14 matches. As per the aforementioned report, the Hammers are keen to fix their leaky defense and have Chelsea's Tosin Adarabioyo on their transfer radar.
The 27-year-old joined the Stamford Bridge outfit on a free transfer from Fulham in July 2024. Since then, the English defender has made 11 appearances for the Blues, starting nine of them.
However, he's yet to become a regular starter for the west London club and can thus potentially leave Chelsea to join Julen Lopetegui's West Ham United, where he'll get more minutes.
Adarabioyo has decent experience playing in the Premier League, having made 83 appearances in the English top flight for the likes of Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham.
Chelsea set to offload 26-year-old star to sign Portuguese defender in January: Reports

Enzo Maresca's Chelsea are looking to offload centre-back Axel Disasi in the winter transfer window as they're preparing to sign Benfica's Tomas Araujo, as per TEAMtalk. The Italian tactician is keen to make big changes in the Blues' line-up.
Axel Disasi joined the Stamford Bridge outfit in August 2023 from Ligue 1 side Monaco. The 26-year-old has made 55 appearances since, bagging five goals and two assists across competitions. However, the Frenchman has made only 11 appearances for Chelsea this season and has also missed a few games due to injury.
As Axel Disasi's replacement, the Blues are planning to sign Benfica's Tomas Araujo. The 22-year-old has been with the Portuguese side since 2016 and his current contract with the side expires in the summer of 2028.
Araujo has played 38 matches for Benfica's senior side, scoring one and assisting one goal. Additionally, his release clause is reportedly around £83 million.
