Atletico Madrid have reportedly agreed a fee for Real Sociedad’s Antoine Griezmann.
A fee of €30 million has reportedly been agreed upon between the two clubs. There was an attempt to bring the French footballer to Atletico in 2011 which failed, but Simeone seems to be determined this time to make the deal happen.
The 23-year old is a good prospect and has scored 20 goals in 49 appearances last season for Real Sociedad. With Champions League exposure in the upcoming season, this move would be the right one for him.
The left winger could prosper well beside Mario Mandzukic, Atletico’s new recruit and would have an excellent learning experience from the likes of Arda Turan and Gabi.
The Macon born footballer also featured in France’s World Cup team in Brazil and is definitely a talent to reckon.
