Lukaku can give Barca a good Plan B with his strength and hold up play

Barcelona are looking to boost their ranks in January by moving for Lukaku in January according to reports from SoccerNews.

It has been clear for sometime now that Barcelona manager Tata Martino is looking to add a striker to give Barcelona a proper plan B in the times when their “Tiki taka” style is ineffective.

The Belgian had to look for pastures new as it was clear earlier this season that Mourinho did not believe in his talents.However, Lukaku has bounced back by hitting top form at Everton scoring 8 goals from 9 appearances so far. His form has caught the eyes of many of the top clubs in Europe and Barcelona is one of them.

Barcelona have been searching for a striker who is of strong build and capable of holding the ball in the final third of the pitch. They were also in for Drogba when he quit Chelsea.

Barcelona currently are sitting top of the table in La Liga but are holding on only on goal difference.
