Sandro: On his way out of White Hart Lane?

Chelsea are reportedly planning a surprise £12 million move Tottenham’s Brazilian midfield enforcer Sandro, according to the Metro.

The Blues are currently drawing up their list of targets for the summer and Jose Mourinho has already wrapped up a deal to bring Diego Costa to Chelsea, with the Spaniard having completing a medical.

Next on their list of transfers is a surprise move for Spurs midfielder Sandro, who is deemed the perfect replacement for the departing Frank Lampard.

The Chelsea legend announced earlier this week he will be leaving Stamford Bridge and Mourinho has not wasted any time by identifying his next target.

The Portuguese coach is looking for a battling midfielder alongside the combative Nemanja Matic for the forthcoming season and believes Sandro could be the one to help the club next season.

Chelsea are set to make a £12million take it or leave it offer for the 25-year-old and it could tempt Spurs to do business. The injury-prone midfield man is a a fans favourite at White Hart Lane and under new Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, it is reported Sandro has a big future.

However, after Sandro recently admitted his future was unsure he may be finally ready to move for pastures new this summer.
