Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic is set to join Hull City after an initial fee of £5.5 million was agreed with Everton.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the deal might be worth £7.5 million.
The 28-year-old is yet to agree personal terms with Hull City and will undergo a medical at the club today.
Jelavic had become increasingly frustrated with the lack of opportunities at Everton and wanted to move elsewhere for first team football.
Everton will not be too unhappy with the deal as the spent the same amount to sign the player from Scottish club Rangers in 2012.
