The 26 year old Spaniard could soon be heading to the Welsh club on a temporary basis. Swansea City are looking forward to loan Liverpool FC’s striker Iago Aspas. The striker had a pretty good pre-season with Liverpool FC but has not been getting enough first team action after Luis Suarez‘s out of the world performance for the Reds.
Iago Aspas had completed his move from Celta Vigo to Liverpool in the summer transfer window of 2013. He has so far played 7 games for Liverpool and he also has an assist to his name. Swansea was also involved in a bidding war during the summer transfer window with Liverpool in securing the signing of the 26 year old Spanish forward but he eventually joined Liverpool.
Swansea will look forward to loan the Spanish forward in the winter transfer window to strengthen their strike-force. They will look forward for the teaming up of Iago Aspas with Spanish compatriots Michu and also Pablo Hernandez. Swansea currently stand in the 10th position with 20 points and will look for a better position in the Premier League and Iago Aspas would be an option to strengthen the Welsh side.
