Inter Milan have reportedly snuck ahead of Liverpool in their pursuit of Barcelona right back Martin Montoya.
The defender is out of contract next season, and Liverpool have been exploring the opportunity of landing the talented 22 year old at Anfield.
However, a host of clubs have been alerted by his current contract situation, and the San Siro club, Inter Milan look favourite to sign the Spain international.
Despite the interest, the Barcelona youth product will be gunning for a new contract at his home town club, provided he is promised more first team football.
