If reports are to be believed, Napoli are looking to sign Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina in a permanant deal after agreeing to match the valuation of €6 million.

The shot-stopper was shipped to the Italian outfit on loan after the Premier League giants signed Simon Mignolet from Sunderland in a multi million pound deal in the summer. The Belgian keeper, Mignolet has since been massive for the club, and has firmly established himself as a first team regular.

The Spanish goal keeper, who played at Merseyside for eight long years, is now said to be happy at Naples under manager Rafa Benitez, and is looking to seal a permanant switch. A return to England might see him warming the benches, which will aid Napoli in securing the deal.

With Napoli ready to meet the valuation of Liverpool, the deal is imminent.
