Controversy regarding Samuel Eto’o‘s age seems to be never ending as the footballer’s ex has now commented on his real age. This allegation from the lady came a day after Jose Mourinho aroused doubts regarding the strikers age. He had said, ‘The problem with Chelsea is I lack a scorer,’ said Mourinho.
‘I have Eto’o but he is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?’
As per Daily Mail, the striker’s ex said: “I think Samuel is not 35 he is more 39. Samuel was born in 1974 and so that makes him 39 now.”
The lady said that she came to know about the Cameroonian’s real age from a very close friend of the striker, who grew up with him.
A Chelsea source later confirmed that Eto’o’s passport clearly states that the footballer is 32.
