Luis Alberto hopes that Real Madrid would sign him
Lazio midfielder Alberto revealed that he wants the Los Blancos to sign him but, he has now focused on securing the Champions League spot with Lazio. The Spaniard spoke to AS about his future.
"I hope you call me a club like Real Madrid, but now I'm concentrating on hitting the Champions League with Lazio, I promised Tare," he said.
The former Liverpool star also stated that former AS Roma sporting director Monchi is the best in the world and believed that the Italian giant did not give the 50 years old enough time.
He said: "They have not given him enough time. He is the best sports director in the world for me. Just to see that he was in another club the next day."
Luis Alberto has been one of Lazio's most important star in recent 2 seasons. Last season the Spanish midfielder had amassed 11 league goals and has now involved in further 7 for Lazio.
