Tanguy Ndombele has been one of the first names on the scoresheet for Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur this season.

The Frenchman's acrobatic volley in the 62nd minute against Sheffield United was his third goal of the season, and he also has an assist to his name.

After securing a club-record £56 million move to the club, Ndombele endured a slow start to life at Tottenham Hotspur.

However, this season, he has been brilliant in the middle of the park and has also impressed with his work rate. Against Sheffield, Ndombele had the most touches on the field after Eric Dier and also completed 89% of his passes.

To cap off his brilliant performance on the night, he also scored a 'Goal of the Season' contender.

Tottenham Hotspur recorded a comfortable win at Sheffield United but failed to keep a clean sheet against the bottom-placed side in the competition, who have scored only scored ten league goals this campaign..

Spurs conceded an early goal in the second half. Although the hosts deserve credit for attacking with greater intent after the break, it was Tottenham Hotspur's lapse in concentration that allowed McGoldrick to head home John Fleck's inch-perfect cross.

Tottenham Hotspur restored their two-goal lead within three minutes to thwart hopes of any comeback for the hosts. But a clean sheet from the game would've been a perfect way for Spurs to return to winning ways at Sheffield United.

#1 Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min continue to shine

Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min have been the standout performers for Tottenham Hotspur this term. The duo, who has accounted for 28 of Tottenham Hotspurs' 33 goals in the Premier League this season, were involved in two of three goals at Bramall Lane as well.

Son picked up an assist for Tottenham Hotspur's early opener before Kane scored Spurs' second of the game in. The striker has now scored 20 goals from outside of the box, becoming the 18th player to do so in Premier League history.

Mourinho will be happy with Kane and Son hitting hit top form but would like to reduce the dependency on the duo as games come thick and fast this campaign.
