“So, So Mourinho” – Twitter reacts as Chelsea blow the title race open at Liverpool

In what will go down as masterclass from Jose Mourinho, Chelsea shocked Liverpool by condemning the title-chasing Merseysiders to a shock two-nil home defeat with the Portuguese coach also fielding a ‘weakened team’.

The visitors took the lead when Steven Gerrard’s untimely slip allowed Demba Ba to race through on goal and slot through Simon Mignolet’s legs.

The hosts huffed and puffed in a tension-filled second half but it was Chelsea who found the next goal. Fernando Torres raced away from the Liverpool defence to rekindle memories of ‘that’ Barcelona goal, before unselfishly rolling the ball for Willian to tuck home.
