Spartak Moscow boss Murat Yakin has revealed that he wants to get Mohamed Salah from Chelsea and end his unpleasant stay in England. Salah moved to Stamford Bridge for £11m in January from Basel but has failed to impress the Chelsea management. The Egypt international has just started three games this season none of them in the Premier League.

I will beg to bring Salah to Moscow: Yakin

Evening Standard reports that Inter Milan and Besiktas are interested to get Salah on loan and already have had talks with Chelsea. Howevevr, Yakin, the former Basel manger, wishes to get back together with the 22-year-old winger, who had impressed under him in the European competitions in the previous two seasons.

Yakin took over Spartak Moscow after leaving Basel in June and has told the Russian team management about his urge to bring the Chelsea player to Moscow. The 40-year-old manager said: “I want to sign both Salah and Fabian Frei (still at Basel). I know both players well.

“I know the economic situation in Russia is not the best, but the club can afford both players’ wages.

“The club president promised a surprise in the upcoming transfer market; I spoke with him about both Salah and Frei and I hope it will happen, that’d be my Christmas present.

“I’ll do whatever it takes to get Salah in the team, even if I have to beg for it.” He added.

Frei has made more impact in England than Salah this season after the Swiss international had been instrumental in knocking out Liverpool in the Champions League group stage.
