The Brazilian had an easy game apart from a tipping over a shot from his teammate Kyle Walker over the post. He also had a staggering pass success rate of 90%.

Nicolás Otamendi - 7/10

A solid performance from the Argentinian defender who is establishing himself as one of the best in the league. He was able to win two aerial duels as well.

Vincent Kompany - 7/10

The City captain did have a few uncertain moments in the first half, but the Belgian regained his composure and marshalled his team to an easy win.

Oleksandr Zinchenko - 6/10

The Ukranian international did have a testing time against Shaqiri as he was nutmegged by the Swiss international just outside the box. Going forward, Zinchenko did contribute to City's attacking threat and had a passing accuracy of 92%.

Kyle Walker - 7/10

The full-back produced a strong display and was able to complete three successful tackles. Walker did have an awkward moment in the game when his shot had to be parried away by Ederson in goal.

Fernandinho - 7/10

The former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder continued his consistent performances for City this season with an assured display in front of the defence. He also maintained an 87% passing accuracy in the match.

David Silva - 9/10

A truly Man of the Match performance by the Spanish midfielder as not only did he score two goals but was orchestrating City's every single move forward. He almost bagged a hat-trick, but his shot went wide. Silva finished the game with a passing accuracy of 96%.

Kevin De Bruyne - 7/10

The Belgian midfielder put forward a strong display once again for the Cityzens. De Bruyne could have added to his assists tally but saw his dangerous freekick miss the City players.

Gabriel Jesus - 7/10

Jesus is slowly regaining his form which was shown in the first half of the season. He also assisted Silva and City's second goal of the night.

Leroy Sané - 7/10

It was relatively quiet game for Sane by his own standards. The German did have a shot on target which was saved by Butland and finished with a passing of 91%.

Raheem Sterling - 8/10

The former Liverpool forward was City's best player after Silva. He constantly troubled Stafylidis and provided the assist for the Spaniard's opener. He also had a mazy run into the box and the subsequent shot was saved by Butland.

The German international came on for Jesus in the dying moments of the game and saw out the game for City.
