#2 Douglas Costa needs more starts

Douglas Costa needs to start more matches for Juventus

The sight of Douglas Costa attacking in a wing is a treat to watch with the Brazilian ability to dribble past any defender with his pace and dazzling skills proving more than enough for a defender.

The Brazilian though has found it hard to break into the starting line-up this season with Cristiano Ronaldo joining the side this year, forming a lethal partnership with Dybala and Mandzukic up front, that has seen the winger being relegated to just four starts in the season.

The 28-year-old showed what the Bianconeri were missing as he tore the AC Milan defence on more than one occasion.

The Brazilian was a thorn in the AC Milan defence as he continuously proved too hot handle for Ricardo Rodriguez who almost failed completely to stop the marauding Brazilian.

If not for the poor final ball from him Juventus would have scored more than a goal today. The Brazilian is sure to be not content with an appearance from the bench and will surely seek better pastures in the summer, if not given proper starts.

#1 Cristiano Ronaldo yet again proves why he is the man for the finals

The name says it all, Cristiano Ronaldo, a serial-winner with league titles and domestic titles in Spain and England the Portuguese hopes of conquering Italy has started off on a bright note.

The five-time Balon d'Or winner helped the Bianconeri win their record eighth Super Coppa scoring the goal that proved to be the difference the two teams.

It was a typical Ronaldo goal as the Portuguese forward timed his run to perfection to head in a brilliantly weighted ball from Pjanic in the 71st minute to give Juve the lead.

With this goal, Ronaldo has started his goalscoring account for the year 2019 after ending last year with 49 goals.
