Pailan Arrows, one of the new faces in Indian Football, is on their way to make a club with full of promising young talents, especially with those players who have been passed out from Tata Football Academy (TFA). Tata Football Academy is producing some supreme Indian talents for the clubs since last couple of years. As a matter of fact, apart from foreign players, clubs are now also relying on Indian talents too. Syed Rahim Nabi, who is currently playing for Mohun Bagan, is one of the best examples to show how good they are.
Pailan’s recent signing was Alwyn George, one of the product of TFA, who has also represented Indian national team in the Nehru Cup. It’s interesting to note that 17 members of the current Pailan Arrows team are the products of TFA. Meanwhile, Mohammedan Sporting and Goan Churchill Brothers have also signed agreement with TFA for players.
Seeing the impressive performances of Alwyn George, Subhankar Mukherjee, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Director said that the player wanted to join East Bengal “but we pursued him to play for the Pailan Arrows.”
