Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola is arguably the greatest manager of this generation. The Spaniard's tactics reaped success yet again, as the club from Manchester won the Premier League again by earning 98 points. Guardiola's Manchester City has dominated English football in the last few seasons as the other teams have struggled to match their strength.

Manchester City were behind Liverpool in the first half of the season but they fought back well in the second half. At one stage, City looked down and out in the race to win the league title but they won each of their last 14 matches to edge Liverpool.

Manchester City also won the F.A Cup against Watford, Carabao Cup and F.A Community shield against Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea. In the process, City became the first English club to win four domestic trophies in a single season. This glorious season with the Manchester club could see Pep Guardiola winning the award in Milan.
