A mere three months after the commencement of club football, a lot of Clubs are eagerly waiting for the January transfer window to open. A lot of players are expected to move this winter and a whole lot of chops and changes are on the cards.

Arsenal

Demba Ba: After having missed out on a loan deal for the Senegal front man, the Gunners are lining up a bid to buy him this time around. Ba has fallen down the pecking order and has been playing second fiddle to Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto’o at the Bridge. Ba has made a mere 3 appearances in the Premier League and Arsenal need a backup striker for Olivier Giroud.

Prospective Bid: 10 Million Pounds

Javier Hernandez: Another candidate to back up Olivier Giroud is Javier Hernandez. Hernandez is stuck down the vine behind Van Persie, Rooney and Daniel Welbeck. Chicarito has been impressive this season contributing to victories against Stoke and Norwich City. He will cost Arsenal somewhere in the region of 10 to 15 Million pounds.

He is perfect for the job and has a lot of experience as the ‘Super Sub’.

Prospective Bid: 10-15 Million Pounds

Robert Lewandowski to Arsenal is a rumor that has gained some wind in the last week or so. However a move to Real Madrid is a more probable scenario.

Liverpool:

Konstantinos Mitroglou: Liverpool have shown some sensational form in front of goal with both Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez scorching the green at Anfield. Mitroglou has been in Midas touch scoring at will in the Super League. He will be a bargain buy; If Rodgers can convince the hierarchy.

Prospective Bid: 6 Million Pounds

Chelsea:

Eliaquim Mangala: Chelsea have been a bit shaky defensively, conceding 2 goals apiece against Newcastle and West Brom. David Luiz has not been sturdy defensively and has lost his place to Cahill. A recent rumor suggesting a potential move for Terry to Turkey, might spur Mourinho to make a winning bid for Mangala. The Porto defender will be a good addition to the back four at the Bridge.

Prospective Bid: 15 Million Pounds

Karim Benzema: The Frenchman has found his stride this season scoring four goals and providing three assists in the last three games. The lack of form last season might have suggested a move away from the Bernabeu. Chelsea are still searching for a front man, to join Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres. Benzema joined the Galacticos on a 30 Million pound transfer. Madrid will be looking to make some of that money back in case they decide to sell him.

Prospective Bid: 25 Million Pounds

Sami Khedira: Sami Khedira is unsettled at Real Madrid and a recent report suggested that he was not happy about the criticism levied on him during the losses suffered by Real Madrid. Real Madrid have been tracking Ramires as a replacement for Khedira and there might be a swap deal including the two.

Prospective Bid: 30 Million Pounds or a swap deal with Ramires.

Wayne Rooney to Chelsea is still a remote possibility but on current form United will not let him go easily.

Manchester United:

Koke: The 21 year old has had a terrific season with Atletico Madrid. He has been labeled as the next Xavi and has been topping the La Liga charts for most goals created. He was scouted by United during the Sir Alex Era. Moyes wants a creative man at Old Trafford and he will have to match the release clause of 16 Million Pounds.

Prospective Bid: 16 Million Pounds

Leighton Baines: The age old rumor of Baines to Old Trafford might finally materialize this winter and a possible replacement for Evra might finally arrive. Roberto Martinez managed to keep Baines at Goodison Park and will be hoping for a similar story, the coming transfer window. Martinez strengthened his squad after selling Fellaini last transfer window by adding the services of James McCarthy and loaned Lukaku, Barry and Deulofeu. Baines will fetch Everton close to a 20 million Pounds.

Prospective Bid: 15 – 20 Million Pounds

Marco Reus: Reus was the bargain buy of the season for Dortmund. His services were secured for a meager 8 million pounds and only a season later he can secure them as much as 30 Million. Ashley Young and Nani have failed to make an impact at United this season and Valencia has not been his spectacular self. Reus can be United’s answer to that. United however will have to thwart the interests of Arsneal and Manchester City for his services.

Prospective Bid: 25 – 30 Million Pounds.

Stoke City:

Jolean Lescott: Lescott has been a rarity as far as featuring in the starting lineup for City. He has been overshadowed by Kompany, Nastasic and Demichelis. Mark Hughes has a steady back line but can use a bit of strengthening. His contract expires at the end of the season and it is unlikely to get an extension at the Ethiad.

Prospective Bid: Less than 5 Million

Tottenham Hotspurs:

Hulk: Spurs have found it difficult to find goals from open play and the usual avenue of goals has been Soldado penalties. Spurs are likely to let ‘out of favor’ Adebayor go and an ageing Defoe hardly helps the cause. Hulk is unsettled at Zenit and is looking for a move to the Premier League. He will however not come cheap. Having broken their transfer record twice during the summer, Spurs will have to probably do it a third time to get the services of the Brazilian.

Prospective Bid: 35 Million Pounds

Thomas Ince: Tottenham are interested in getting Ince to White Hart Lane. The Blackpool winger has a year left on his contract and is reluctant to sign a new deal. Liverpool were interested in the winger last season however Blackpool thwarted that interest. Blackpool will want to cash in on Ince and not allow him to leave on free transfer.

Prospective Bid: 5 Million Pounds

Fabio Coentrao: Spurs are without a strong recognized Right back following the injuries to Danny Rose and Kyle Naughton. In such a situation Villas Boas might be inclined to make a bid for the 20 million rated Real Madrid right back. Coentrao has played less than half a dozen games and is looking for a way out of the Spanish Capital. He possesses great ability to cross and make darting runs down the right flank. Spurs have been missing the width and the Portuguese might be the perfect fit to the jigsaw.

Prospective Bid: 20 Million Pounds.

The January transfer window promises a festive season and some clubs are going to go all out to lay their hands on their prospective targets. Hold your breath, cause it’s going to be a hell of a ride.
