Patrick Cutrone, the 19-year-old Italian striker, has become a sensation in Italian football. His last-gasp winner helped AC Milan get the better of Rijeka in a UEFA Europa League game.

The Milanese giants were in control of the game for the first 80 minutes and were leading by a 2-0 goal margin. Then, suddenly something went wrong in Milan's defence.

The visitors had stunningly upturned a two-goal deficit in the last 10 minutes at the San Siro. The scoreline became 2-2 after 90 minutes. However, in the additional minutes, the forward stood up and scored a quick-reflex goal to seal the game for AC Milan. The assist was provided by Fabio Borini who fed him a delightful pass.

This sensational win has helped AC Milan to maintain its top spot in the Group-D of the Europa League. They need just a win to qualify for the Europa League knock-outs.

Thomas Meunier netted a brace with a stoppage-time goal to provide PSG with a late win at Dijon

Defender Thomas Meunier was PSG's saviour as his last-minute goal helped PSG beat Dijon in an away Ligue 1 game. Kylian Mbappe drew the ball across the face of the box with a thunderous strike and Meunier pounced on the rebound to grab the points from the big-spending French side.

Meunier, who had earlier scored a goal at the 70th minute, popped up to strike again. The Belgian international right-back, in the form of his life, has now scored seven goals for club and country already this season.

A sensational volley from Benjamin Jeannot at the 87th minute seemed to have salvaged a point for Dijon in their home fixture. Earlier, Angel Di Maria, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe could have scored a few and PSG hit the post twice before their first goal.

Dijon, who is fourth from the bottom of the table, produced a fighting display till the very end.

PSG, with the help of this win, stayed well clear of Monaco and Lyon to lead the Ligue 1 points table.

Fekir tormented Monaco with two goals and an assist

Nabil Fekir struck a last minute goal to give Lyon a 3-2 home win against the title-contenders Monaco in a Ligue 1 encounter on the 13th of October. Fekir played his role in all the three Lyon goals.

He scored a sensational goal towards the butt-end of the match with a flawlessly executed free-kick to send Lyon up to third in their league table, just behind PSG and Monaco. He had also provided a fine cross to Mariano Diaz for their first goal.

Both Lyon and Monaco played attacking football right from the onset as they were 2-2 at the end of 34 minutes. The visitors had the abundance of chances throughout the game. However, last year Ligue 1 Champions were too cumbersome in their attack to kill the game off. They paid the price for their sluggish attack as Fekir clinched a winner in the dying moments.

This win has its importance in the Ligue 1 Championship race as Lyon is not so far from Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain F.C. They are currently 3rd in the table and just seven points behind the league leaders.

Lazio's super-sub Alessandro Murgia scored the goal of his career and helped Lazio win the Italian Super Cup in the final minutes of the game. The 21-year old Italian midfielder scored a 93rd-minute winner as Lazio beat Juventus 3-2 to win the cup despite Juventus crawling back from two goals behind.

Lazio took a two-goal advantage after a stunning brace from Ciro Immobile in the 32nd and 54th minutes. However, Paulo Dybala scored a stunning free kick in the 85th minute and then converted a penalty in the 90th minute to stage a stirring comeback.

The game seemed to be going for a 30-minute extra time before Murgia, who had come on as a sub, scored the decisive goal in the last minute of stoppage time. The goal was assisted by Jordan Lukaku who sent a ball low into the centre in the 18-yard box which Murgia converted calmly with his right foot.

This win has inspired Lazio to perform well in the Serie A. They are currently 4th in the points table with just four points away from the League leaders, Napoli. They also have a game in hand to tighten the Serie A title race.

Michy Batshuayi came on as a second-half sub and scored a clever goal in injury time to give Chelsea a 2-1 win at the Wanda Metropolitano in a UEFA Champions League group game.

Antonio Conte's side fell behind to Antoine Griezmann’s penalty but came back into the game with the help of a flicked header from Alvaro Morata. Just when it looked like the sides were going to settle for a point each, Batshuayi flicked the ball in with virtually the last kick of the game.

The Belgium forward converted Marcos Alonso's low cross to snatch all three points with the final kick of the match.

The Chelsea players, the away fans from London and their coach Antonio Conte went wild, while the home fans were stunned. The former Chelsea player and the past/future Atletico player, Diego Costa, hung his head in disappointment from the stands.

This away win has helped Chelsea consolidate the 2nd spot in the Champions League Group-C table. The group of death has Atletico Madrid, Roma and Chelsea fighting for two knock-out spots.

Leighton Baines' late strike completes dramatic comeback for Everton

Two goals down at 64 minutes, Everton showed terrific passion and heart to steal the three points from Watford. Second-half goals from the Brazilian wonder kid, Richarlison, and defender Christian Kabasele had set Watford on their way to what looked to be a convincing victory against a struggling Everton side.

Unfortunately, Watford lost their first choice goalkeeper, Heurelho Gomes, to an injury and that shifted the momentum back in Everton’s favour. Right after Gomes' injury, Oumar Niasse scored a goal. Substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin rose the highest to finish off a Leighton Baines corner and made it 2-2.

Finally, in the 91st minute, Baines calmly converted a penalty-kick after Aaron Lennon was fouled in the penalty area. The scoreline turned from 0-2 to 3-2 within 23 minutes.

Watford had a chance in the last minute of the game to salvage a point. Unfortunately, Tom Cleverley missed the penalty resulting in a dramatic win for Everton.

They leapt from the relegation zone with this sensational win against Watford. Will this win revive Everton's fortune in the Premier League? Only, time will tell.

Sterling's crazy celebration resulted in him getting a second yellow card

English starlet Raheem Sterling fired a 97th-minute winner before being sent off, receiving a second yellow card for excessive celebration. His goal gave Manchester City a hard-fought victory over Bournemouth on a frenzied afternoon at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth's time-wasting tactics boomeranged as the game stretched for two more minutes beyond the projected five-minute stoppage time.

Charlie Daniels' stunning 13th-minute goal was quickly neutralized by a Gabriel Jesus's equalizer in the 21st minute. With the scoreline at 1-1, both the teams went close to a winner as they both hit the post in the second half. Nathan Ake could have got a red card for a late trip on Jesus but escaped with just a yellow from Mike Dean. Despite the defeat, Charlie Daniels won the Man-of-the-match award for a world-class strike.

This hard-fought win inspired Machester City as they have subsequently thrashed all opponents and have remained unbeaten in the league.

#2 Antonio Sanabria 94’ (Real Madrid 0 - 1 Real Betis) La Liga, 20/09/2017

Betis punished Madrid for their wastefulness in the final third
Betis punished Madrid for their wastefulness in the final third

Antonio Sanabria scored an injury-time winner as Real Betis stunned Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu on 20th of September. Zidane's side dominated the game for the majority of the time. But Cristiano Ronaldo was among the players who wasted multiple chances as Real unleashed 27 shots on goal.

Zinedine Zidane had not planned how to counter a spirited performance from Betis' goalkeeper Antonio Adan and a defensive masterplan from coach Quique Setien. Setien's counter-attacking strategy worked for his team. With Madrid players flying forward, Betis gained a lot more space for counter-attacking.

Betis had already thrown away a lot of counter-attacking opportunities with their inexperience in the final third. In the 94th minute of the game, Antonio Barragan provided a neat cross to the Betis striker to head home a last-minute winner.

It was Betis' first win against Madrid at Bernabeu in 19 years. It also ended Real Madrid's run of scoring in 73 consecutive games. The defending champions are far from their best this season. They are currently third in the points table eight points behind Barcelona and four behind Valencia.
