Chelsea signed Kepa Arrizabalaga for €80 million in the summer transfer window of 2018, which makes him the most expensive goalkeeper of all time

Arrizabalaga started his career with Athletico Bilbao's farm team, CD Basconia in 2012 and he made his debut for the senior team in 2014. He impressed in his 53 league appearances for Bilbao's senior team and subsequently earned his first Spanish national team call-up in 2017.

The 24-year-old settled well with his new club and conceded 16 goals in the opening 21 Premier League fixtures this season. He is also among the leading candidates to win the Premier League Golden Glove this season, with 10 clean-sheets already registered to his name.
