#2. Christian Pulisic to Chelsea
Next on our list is the 20-year old USA international, Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic’s meteoric rise in Borussia Dortmund assured the fans that he is going to be a top-class midfielder to don the yellow jersey, and follow in the footsteps of Reus and Gotze.
Pulisic is the kind of player who always loved to take on more responsibility from a very young age, often starting the attacks from the back. However, with the rise of Jadon Sancho and his immediate burst into fame, Pulisic was reduced to a bench-warmer. Looking for more first-team opportunities, Pulisic was looking away for a transfer.
Premier League teams, Liverpool and Arsenal, attracted interest but ultimately, Chelsea acquired his services for around a fee of £57.6 million. He was immediately loaned back to his previous club to complete the 2018-19 season.
Pulisic leaves the Westfalstadion with 15 goals in 104 appearances. It is now to be seen how he copes up with the challenges at his new club.
