#3 Romelu Lukaku (£250,000 per week)

Manchester United v Chelsea - Premier League
Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the Premier League

Belgian marksman Romelu Lukaku shook hands with Manchester United in a £75 million deal in 2017. The fee might sound too much, but 87 goals in 167 appearances coupled with the title of Belgium's all-time leading goalscorer ought to justify the price tag.

Lukaku pockets weekly wages of £250,000 at Manchester United. He is known for his athletic built, which helps him to hold the ball up against opponents. He is also an aerial danger due to his physical advantage and tall stature. Added to that, he is also prolific and consistent in front of goal, having scored 20+ goals in the last three seasons.

Lukaku was off to a flying start at United, finding the net 10 times in 9 games and breaking Sir Bobby Charlton's previous record of 9 goals in 9 matches. As the season progressed, he faded a little but seems to be back to his usual torpor at the moment.

He has scored 22 times in 40 games across all competitions and looks set to play a major role in the upcoming years at Old Trafford.
