4 - Neymar vs PSG - Round of 16 2nd leg (2016/17)

The greatest comeback in European football history was made possible by an astounding performance from Neymar.

In the second leg of their round of 16 match against PSG in 2017, Barca faced a task many considered impossible - overcoming a 4-0 first-leg deficit.

And on the day Leo Messi could not rise to the occasion, the Cules were fortunate enough to see Neymar produced a career-best display.

With Barca leading 2-0 but still needing three more goals to go through, Neymar won a penalty that was dispatched by Messi in the 50th minute.

However, Cavani scored for the Parisians, making it 3-1. Barca again needed to score three more goals.

It wasn't until the 88th minute that Neymar began to leave his mark in history.

An inch-perfect free-kick made it 4-1 to Barca, giving the fans at Camp Nou some hope.

He then stepped up, ahead of Messi, to score a penalty in the first minute of stoppage time.

Showing nerves of steel, Neymar calmly slotted the ball past a rather helpless Kevin Trapp.

Then, it was time for La Remontada to be complete.

With seconds left on the clock, Barca was awarded a freekick which Neymar tried to deliver into the box.

After a rather weak clearance, the ball landed at his feet again. Taking his time, Neymar then floated a ball in. And the rest is history.

Although it was Sergi Roberto who completed the unbelievable comeback, the man at the centre of it all was Neymar.

With two goals and two assists, he produced a performance of a lifetime in a game that will surely never be forgotten.

Ironically, he ended up joining PSG for a world record fee just months later but his performance that night will surely live in the hearts of Barca fans for years.
