In his second season in Italian football, Cristiano Ronaldo took 14 games to reach 10 goals for the season just as it was in his debut season in the Italian top-flight in 2018-19.

From that point on, the 35-year-old has scored in each of his next 10 games to equal Gabriel Batistuta and Fabio Quagliarella's Serie A record of 11 consecutive scoring games. During this run, Ronaldo scored his much-awaited first hat-trick in Serie A, doing so against Cagliari in Juventus' 4-0 home win.

By scoring in the 2-1 defeat at Hellas Verona, Ronaldo scored 20 league goals for the 11th consecutive season (9 for Real Madrid, 2 for Juventus). In his next game, which the Bianconeri won 2-1 at home over SPAL, the Portugal captain brought up 25 goals in all competitions for the 14th consecutive season (3 for Manchester United, 9 for Real Madrid, 2 for Juventus).

Robert Lewandowski started the 2019-20 season on a hot streak, scoring in each of the first 11 games of the Bundesliga season to create a new competition record before Fortuna Dusseldorf became the first team to stop the prolific Pole.

Following that hot run, the 31-year-old has scored a rather modest 9 goals in his next 12 games to move to 25 goals for the season which is still 4 clear of Timo Werner in the Bundesliga scoring charts after 24 Matchdays.

Apart from his domestic exploits, Lewandowski has scored in every game of the Champions League this season, moving to 11 goals in the competition in just 6 games.
