Portugal v France - Final: UEFA Euro 2016
Ronaldo is up there with the best players ever to play the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo. This hasn't been just a name for the past few years. It is an organized way of living. You will find yourself short of superlatives to describe the man, or should we say, the beast himself.

The Portuguese winger has become the most popular athlete on earth, and continues to marvel his fans even at the ripe age of thirty-two.

With a host of records under his belt, he is considered by many as the best player of this generation. His tales of comparison with Argentine rival Lionel Messi have made it to football folklore.

Known for his extremely hard-working attitude, Cristiano's demeanour has a certain aura around itself. He is a walking tribute to the values of patience, perseverance, and dedication. Surely, Sir Alex Ferguson has gifted us a miracle in the form of Cristiano Ronaldo.

You can name any quality defender or goalkeeper, the Portuguese giant has got the better of them all. A towering Ronaldo running at electrifying pace with the ball towards you is bound to make you quake in your own boots. The terror he strikes while playing, is enough to quail the hearts of the bravest defenders that face him.

In his trophy-laden and illustrious career at Real Madrid and Manchester United, he has broken a large number of records. In the past two years, he seems to be competing with only one man. Himself.

But, there still remain some milestones he can consider breaking before he retires. In this slideshow, we take a look at the toughest records Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to break and could break in the future.

#5: Most International goals in the world

Argentina v Portugal - International Friendly
Cristiano Ronaldo is Portugal's all time top goal scorer with 78 goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo became the all time top scorer for Portugal, and already has 78 goals for his country after Portugal's recent face-off versus the Faroe Islands. With a hat-trick that included an extremely well-executed bicycle kick, CR7 surpassed Sándor Kocsis tally of 75 International goals for Hungary.

The famous Real Madrid forward is now only seven goals short of breaking all time international goal-scoring record set by Ferenc Puskás. The former Real Madrid legendary goalscorer netted 84 times, while playing for both, Hungary and Spain in a total of 89 international appearances.

This looks to be the next record Cristiano Ronaldo will break by the end of this year.
