Lucas Torreira made a switch from Sampdoria to play in the Premier League for Arsenal. Lucas, after a sensational World Cup campaign for Uruguay was Arsenal's priority transfer target. Torreira moved to Arsenal this summer for £26.4 million from Serie A side Sampdoria. The Uruguayan international struggled to make his way into the starting eleven initially but since then, Torreira has gone on to establish himself in the Arsenal starting XI and he has made 17 appearances in Premier League for Arsenal. The midfielder is the complete package who can dictate play, score, assist and even adds physicality.
He scored his first goal against north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. His second goal came late against Huddersfield where he rescued complete 3 points for Arsenal with a brilliant acrobatic goal.
