Left Wing - Leroy Sané (Man City)

Manchester City's Leroy Sané had a lively game against the Saints

The German midfielder was in sparkling form with two assists and a goal as they thrash Southampton 6-1 at home.

In the sixth-minute, Sane's cross to the centre of the box got deflected by Wesley Hoedt for an own goal.

Sterling and Sane combined well before Sane provided Silva with a weighted pass to power in a half-volley to put City 3-0 up.

A fast break saw Sterling on the run who crossed it to Sane who blasted a low drive past McCarthy late in injury time to compound the misery on the Saints.

Sane should have scored his first in the 62nd minute when his shot clipped the left post off Aguero’s assist.

West Ham United's Felipe Anderson was a bundle of energy against Burnley

Felipe Anderson was in sparkling form for the Hammers with six through balls this season finding himself ranked fourth in the league.

With a vulnerable Burnley defence, West Ham took complete advantage of the situation hammering four goals to take three points.

Felipe Anderson drilled a left footed shot through the legs of Hart to find the bottom right corner from Grady Diangana’s assist in the 68th minute to put the Hammers back in the lead.

Felipe Anderson scored his second goal after his right footed shot from the centre of the box took a deflection before settling into the goal.

A fabulous weighted pass from Felipe Anderson found Marko Arnautovic reeling off a left-footed shot which found Hart blocking it with his legs for a corner.

Arnautovic set up Felipe Anderson beautifully who curled the ball in towards the goal which got past Hart but got headed off the line by Ben Mee to deny Anderson.

In the 80th minute, he got denied yet again by the right post from his chip shot through Arnautovic’s assist.

Snodgrass had earlier supplied Anderson with two beautiful crosses of which one got blocked out, and the other got saved by Hart.

He also provided a telling cross to Obiang, but his final shot went high and wide off the right post.

He played a crucial role in the Hammer’s fourth goal when his long pass was chested down by Antonio to Chicharito who slotted it home.
