Speculation is rife that Fernando Torres will be left out of the starting eleven by Roberto Di Matteo ahead of Chelsea‘s crunch group game with Juventus.

It’s a game Chelsea simply cannot afford to lose and if anything to remain in with a shout of winning the group, need to win.

Torres has received plenty of stick from all corners of the press and the media and some of the Chelsea fans are beginning to turn on him. Questions remain until tomorrow night when RDM confirms his starting eleven but in such a big big game, can we afford to leave him out?

I for one have been and remain a Torres supporter and do not agree with all this talk of selling up and bringing in a replacement.

Fernando Torres needs to focus on playing solely through the middle and to stay there to be as good as we all know he can be. We do not want to see him out wide!

Unfortunately, the stats are there for all to see:

So, will RDM decide to go with Danny Sturridge up front or will he stick with Torres tomorrow night?

What do you think?
