The Eagles are desperate to land a striker in January and are keen on taking the forgotten Liverpool man, Danny Ings on a short-term loan. Ings has battled with knee injuries since joining the Reds from Burnley in 2015 but now wants to resurrect his career by having regular playing time.

Sean Dyche flattered by Everton's interest

English tabloids have labelled Sean Dyche as the favourite to take over from Ronald Koeman. Dyche currently has 5-1 odds of becoming the next Everton boss according to leading bookmakers.

When asked about interest from the Merseyside club, Dyche was flattered by the speculations. "It's very flattering, I've been linked with other situations before. I just keep getting on with my job until things change. It's out of my hands, I'm just getting on with what I do," Dyche told Daily Mail.
