Isco on Manchester City's radar

Don Balon claims that Pep Guardiola is set to revive his interest in Real Madrid's playmaker, Isco. The Spaniard has long been linked with a move away from Madrid but after seeing his importance grow in this Madrid side, Isco recently signed a new deal with the European champions. This has not perturbed Manchester City from monitoring the 25-year-old who reportedly has a release clause of over £100 million. Pep Guardiola is keen on working with Isco since the player's Malaga days and is expected to make a move next summer.

Arda Turan heading to Turkey

Yet to make an appearance this season, Arda Turan is desperate to end his FC Barcelona nightmare in January. Mynet reports that Turan is being linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the Turkish league. The 30-year-old midfielder has been a reported target for a number of clubs such as Inter Milan, AS Monaco and a host of Chinese Super League clubs. But Fenerbahce seem to be confident of landing Turan which might become a controversial transfer in Turkey as Turan started out his career with Fenerbahce's bitter rivals, Galatasaray.

Missing Italy

Alvaro Morata misses Italy

The Chelsea striker has admitted that he misses Italian football and believes that he made a mistake leaving Juventus in 2016. Morata spent two seasons in Turin but joined Real Madrid due to a buy-back clause in his contract. The striker then joined Chelsea this summer to end his stay in Spain, once and for all. Speaking to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Morata revealed, "I arrived in Italy feeling like a boy and I returned feeling like a true player. I should never have left Italy and Juve. I really miss Italy. My wife would like to live in Spain; I'd like to live in Italy."

Inter Milan monitoring Eliaquim Mangala

Tuttosport writes that Inter Milan are ready to make a move for Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala if the Premier League club are ready to sell him at a low price. Mangala joined City in a big money move from FC Porto in 2014 but has failed to win many admirers with his performances. City are also looking to offload the Frenchman but only if they find a better replacement. Inter Milan are flying this season with manager Luciano Spalletti keen on making his defence stronger with the signing of Mangala.

Bayern Munich are looking to sign a striker in January

The Bavarians have begun their search to find an able deputy for Robert Lewandowski after the striker recently pleaded for more support. Bild reports that the Polish international recently said, "At this moment there is no other option. We do not have a back-up in my position. I also wanted to get some rest." Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern Munich's sporting director has promised Lewandowski of signing a striker in the winter market and is now looking for options around the continent.

Werder Bremen sack Alexander Nouri

The Bundesliga club have sacked head coach Alexander Nouri and his coaching staff after a dismal start to the season. Bremen are currently winless in the league and are at the second bottom of the table with no wins out of 10 matches, scoring just 3 along the way. Nouri was delivered the news today at the club's training ground. The club has now given the reigns to the U23s manager Florian Kohfeldt, his assistant Thomas Horsch and U17s boss Tim Borowski. The trio will take charge of the first team affairs from now on.

Kevin De Bruyne set for a bumper new deal

Manchester City have taken note of the fine form displayed by their star midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne this season and have decided to reward him with a bumper new deal. Daily Star understands that City will offer an extension to the Belgian midfielder which will see him become the club's highest ever earner. The new contract will see De Bruyne earn £250,000 per week, higher than that of Sergio Aguero and David Silva. De Bruyne's current deal is until 2020 with City keen on offering a new five-year deal.

Arsenal target Jorginho

Tuttomercatoweb understands that Arsene Wenger has been blown away by the performance levels shown by Napoli midfielder, Jorginho this season and is eager to work with him as soon as possible. The Gunners are set to make a move for one of the most highly rated midfielders in the world at the moment next summer. Jorginho has been crucial to Napoli's brilliant run this season and is also expected to play a huge role for Brazil at next year's World Cup in Russia.

Hatem Ben Arfa wanted by Leicester City

French outlets have claimed that new Leicester City manager, Clause Puel has made Hatem Ben Arfa his number one January target. Ben Arfa is yet to make an appearance this season and will be sold in the January transfer window. Leicester have met with the player's representatives with a move being imminent.

Alan Pardew linked with Rangers

The former Crystal Palace manager, Alan Pardew has made himself available for the vacant managerial post at Rangers. The Daily Mail understands that Pardew is keen on a stint in Ibrox to manage the Scottish giants. Rangers sacked Pedro Caixinha last week and are on the lookout for a new manager. Along with Pardew, the likes of Derek McInnes, Alex McLeish and Michel Preud'homme are also being linked with the Rangers hot seat.
