Bayern Munich end Alexis Sanchez interest

Though Bayern Munich have long been linked with the soon to be free agent, Alexis Sanchez, the club has now reportedly ended all their interest in the Chilean. Sky Germany understands that Sanchez has already decided his next destination and there is no point chasing a lost cause for the Bavarians. Speaking on the issue, club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said, "I think Sanchez has already decided which club to join, so I suppose that the door will be closed in January."

Tottenham Hotspur enter the race for Leon Goretzka

It is now expected to be a North London race between Spurs and Arsenal for securing the future of Schalke's Leon Goretzka. The 22-year-old is out of contract next summer and is a transfer target for a number of high profile clubs. Mauricio Pochettino is reported to be a fan of the German midfielder but Sunday Mirror has reported that Goretzka prefers a move to FC Barcelona or Bayern Munich over the Premier League clubs.
