Is Juan Mata on his way to Barcelona?

– Spanish daily Sport reckon Manchester United star Juan Mata was offered to Barcelona, but they are not interested in signing him. Valencia are in the race to snap him up, but Everton are in pole position.

– According to Marca, Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid youngster Marco Asensio. The 20-year-old spent the last season on loan at Espanyol, and has at least 20 offers on his table. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly a huge admirer of the youngster.

– Barcelona are interested in signing Belgian star Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco. According to Cadena star, the Catalan giants might have to pay as much as €40m to Atletico Madrid for the player. Carrasco’s former club, AS Monaco, are entitled to 25 per cent of any sell-on fee.
