Liverpool preparing a move for Arturo Vidal
According to World Football Index, Liverpool have identified Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal as their top target. The Reds have failed in their pursuits of Naby Keita and Virgil van Dijk so far this summer, with supporters growing agitated from the club's inactivity in the transfer market. Jurgen Klopp is said to be a huge fan of the combative midfielder and is ready to spend around £50 million on the 30-year-old.
Hannover 96's loan bid for Ben Woodburn gets rejected
The 17-year-old forward impressed in Liverpool's pre season and has, subsequently, attracted interest from many clubs. However, Liverpool are reluctant to let Woodburn go, with Daily Mail reporting that the Reds want the player to progress under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp.
Hannover had made a loan bid for Woodburn, Liverpool's youngest ever goalscorer, which fell on deaf ears. Meanwhile, another Liverpool academy graduate, Sheyi Ojo is set for a loan spell in the Championship with Fulham and Middlesbrough interested in the winger.
