FC Barcelona expect to sign Coutinho by Friday
The Daily Mirror has reported that Barcelona have sent a three man delegation to London to negotiate a £120 million deal for Brazilian, Philippe Coutinho. Three Catalan officials namely Oscar Grau, Raul Sanllehi and Javier Bordas are set to agree a deal with Liverpool for Coutinho by the end of this week with the 25-year-old's unveiling scheduled for Friday. Meanwhile, sources close to the Reds have maintained that Liverpool will reject any bid for Coutinho, claiming that he will start against Watford on Saturday.
Florentino Perez wants to offload Gareth Bale
It is believed that Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez and Jose Mourinho spoke about the future of Welshman Gareth Bale prior to last night's UEFA Super Cup tie. Despite the player stating his desire to stay in Spain, Diario Gol has claimed that Perez wants to sell the Welshman this summer and thinks that Manchester United is the perfect destination. But it is also written in the Spanish tabloid that Perez wants at least £150 million for Bale.
